I’ve been pretty busy. Sorry I haven’t blogged in a while. And OMG I’m sorry for using the term blog as well as the abbreviation for Oh my God just now. I hate myself and the rest of the internet community for allowing these terms to exist and replace the romanticism of what I used to refer to as keeping a dairy and making complete sentence exclamations.

I’m surprised they haven’t invented a thing for applying sunscreen to your own back. When I vacationed in southwestern Australia a few years ago, I was all by my lonesome. What seemed Zen and self-spirited was not exactly a day at the beach. Though I had my very own private beach, I had no one to ask to rub me down. Mind the depleted ozone layer directly above. WTF mate? I ended up squeezing the SPF 30 all over my beach towel and then rolling around on it. It worked, sort of. I burned stripes into my skin like a grilled chicken.


...doing a duo of hours on the phone with Japan. They’re on a different time table over there, one that cares little about Nashville. I’ve been taking Japanese lessons on DVD. So far the only phrase I can say is: I have a coupon for that.
